# Decisions

Each record says what was decided, what else was tried, and what it costs. A later record can amend an earlier one; the status line at the top of each says so.

- [ADR 0001 — Process model: long-lived print-mode process per session (A2)](https://useangelia.com/docs/decisions/0001-process-model/)
  accepted 2026-09-13; amended 2026-09-19 by ADR 0008, which brings A3 back as an opt-in host mode per profile (`tui: true`) because the Claude-app mirror became a requirement.
- [ADR 0002 — WhatsApp: Baileys in-process, pairing code, mention-required groups](https://useangelia.com/docs/decisions/0002-whatsapp/)
  accepted 2026-09-13; implemented 2026-09-17 (`angelia pair`), running groups daily since. Historical in part: QR became the default pairing once WhatsApp began rejecting pairing codes from third-party clients; the code is still an option (`pairing: code`).

  accepted 2026-09-15. The agy half is superseded 2026-09-21: agy was removed as a backend (headless it cannot deny a single tool, and its MCP servers are machine-wide, so per-profile capabilities could never be enforced on it).

There is no 0010. It recorded a design that was removed before the code was published, and the record was left out with it.
